Our PSS Story

  1. 1977 to 2009

    A Journey That Began at Fifteen

    Our founder, Sam, joined the Singapore Armed Forces Boys' School at just 15. By 17 he had conquered the SAF Ranger Course, one of the hardest in the country. The army taught him discipline, accountability and never leaving anyone behind. Those same values are the foundation of PSS today, and they are why families and clinicians can trust us to do what we say.

  2. 2009

    32 years of service, and a new mission

    After 32 years serving the nation as a Commando, Sam retired from the Armed Forces, but his desire to serve was far from over. He went on to join one of Singapore's largest medical equipment suppliers, where he spent the next eight years as a director.

  3. 2009 to 2016

    Seeing the gap

    Along the way, Sam noticed that paediatrics was underserved. Children needed equipment made for them, not scaled-down adult products. He began bringing in equipment tailored for children, earning the trust of suppliers around the world and becoming the sole distributor for brands that families still rely on today.

  4. 6 October 2016

    Paediatric Seating Solutions is born

    As a father of two, Sam felt a calling he couldn't ignore. He knew how much effort and care it takes to serve children properly, and that it deserved his full attention. So he left the larger company to focus solely on paediatrics, and founded Paediatric Seating Solutions.

    Here for the ones who matter most
